This is one of the most creative uses of a pillow I’ve seen in awhile! Sure wish I could dance like this – yeah – in my dreams… The dancers are fantastic, but really, without the pillow, they’ve got nothing!

Well, that was quite the easy quiz, no? (I’ve always been partial to quizzes that also provide the answers.) However, the answer to this particular question is really quite fabulous. I’ll be up front: while I’m easily distracted by shiny, new gadgetry, I am – at heart – mostly a luddite. I don’t have cable – nevermind DVR, my cell phone doesn’t have a camera (in fact, most of my phone talking is done on a landline), & I’ve never sent a text message. And as far as clocks go, I prefer analog over digital (though I do have a soft spot for digital clocks that include sound-spas; I do like my white noise). But there’s something science-fictionally-appealing about Florian Scharfer’s Melted Clock, spotted at Unplggd. And let’s face it, it’d be pretty sweet to only have to wake up enough to just touch the clock face to decide whether or not you even need to open your eyes & start the day.

We’re in the midst of an internal debate here at Cuddledown, regarding semantics, and we’re wondering if you’d help us out. What do you call the down/feather/synthetic-filled pouf that one puts on one’s bed to sleep under? Is it a comforter or duvet? Is there a reason you prefer one word over the other? What about the decorative case that goes over said pouf – is it a comforter cover or duvet cover? Does one sound more upscale than the other?
